Beverly Wardlaw

Bev & George Wardlaw moved from Austin, Texas in the late 1970’s to homestead in the Ozarks. They raised their 3 sons (Ben is their middle child) on 60 acres near Rocky Comfort, MO. The headwaters of Big Sugar Creek are located right next to our flower field. Bev has a background in the floral industry and designing for weddings and events. She built a commercial kitchen at the farm and creates her Comfrey Salve with CBD oil, available in our online Shop. Photo: Kate Baer Fossils

Lauren Wardlaw

Lauren is owner of Palace Mushrooms. She’s a mad scientist who loves roller skating and rescuing dogs. She assists in growing, photographing, and delivering flowers for Gardenia. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Environmental, Soil, and Water Science & Wildlife Habitat Management.

Maryah Wagner

Maryah is mother to 3 and loves gardening and chicken wrangling. She and her husband own iCleanWaterways, a national movement actively removing trash from our springs, creeks, rivers and our many lakes while promoting personal responsibility. Their goal is to eliminate trash one pound at a time for our children and generations after.

India Malherbe

India worked with Cheevers Flowers in Oklahoma City for 8 years as a floral design assistant. She has volunteered with school gardens, food recovery projects, non-profit farms & conservation efforts. Currently studying the feasibility of establishing micro to midsize scale fruit and vegetable farms in the Midwest through the CAFF Farm School in Fayetteville, AR. Her hope is to strengthen and build a more resilient local food-shed while supporting community health by producing high quality produce direct to market as ecologically and financially sustainable as possible.
